LOVE is LOVE
Hello every one!
This is me Scribbler [penname] welcome to my blog.
It's been a long time since we met. These days I was thinking about many topics and failed to catch somewhere to write an article. But this topic that you all are going to read today keeps getting stuck in my mind. That's why I decided to put this into writing.
Before I get to the topic of the day, let me say one thing. I wasn't much of a book reader until my post-graduation. When I was doing my Masters, I had time to submit a summer internship paper as part of my semester project, and I chose an internship at a research institute – where I had to spend a month away from my home. I wasn’t planned much on how to spend weekends on new city. One thing which I did was along with my packing I added three books. I would say, that is one of the best things did for my first travel. I don't know what impact it will have on my life later. Now that I realize it, reading books is one of my life lessons I have learned and a great companion in itself.
Yes, the writing is about Ponniyin Selvan by Kalki.
As I said above, I took three books with my packing, one of which was PS (I still have this copy). This book has 5 volumes and the book I have has all 5 volumes in one box. When I started this book, the words took me back to the era. Early morning eye strain doesn't make me fold the book unless I fall on it. That is the beauty I saw in this book. I found it difficult to continue my training with these amazing memories. You won't believe it until you experience it.
Well, straight to the point. While traveling through the book I observed love, revenge, affection, friendship, honor, cunning, intelligence, beauty, wealth, beyond the eye, relics, spirituality, faith, strength, transformations and many more. In simple words, life lessons (you may have noticed that I mentioned in the plural, yes, there are many lessons, not just one). I would like to share some thoughts and observations and key ideas and concepts of the novelty and taste of the story.
Please Note: This is purely from my point of view and feelings.
Love stories
1. Sundara Chozhan – Mandhagini – Vanama Devi “Divine Love”
Mandakini is Sundara Chola's romance, though it doesn't end up being the couple we all want. Vanama Devi Sundara Chola's wife, she has unconditional love for her padi (husband). Sundara Chola falls for Mandakini even after he finds out that she is coming from an ordinary family also, deaf and dumb. As a prince who falls for a girl who is deaf and dumb and grew up in a poor family. But the love between them will melt your hearts. trust me. Due to certain circumstances, Sundara Cholan would marry Vanama Devi, and start loving her for the unconditional love she showed him. However, the memories of his first love (Mandakini and Sundara Cholan Kadhal as their first blossoming love in their teenage years) haunts him and he suffers a lot because of it. The pain he experienced was greater than the pain he experienced when he lost Mandakini. One such painful moment is shown in Kalki's writing. Meanwhile, Mandigini doesn't hate Sundara Chola, rather she continues to love Sundara Chola, she doesn't come into his life for his well-being, but she saves his son Arulmozhi from many dangerous situations, and after saving her love, her soul finds peace. Love Dialogues - Muted Drama – says 1000 Words, Not only Sundara Chola understands, readers also understand divine love.
2. Poonguzhali – ArulMozhi – Vanathi “Trio Love”
Poonkuzhali is a boatwoman who lives by the sea. She is very brave, strong, goal oriented, and heroic. Arulmozhi and Vanathi belong to the Raj family. Arulmozhi is the son of Sundara Chola, where all the people under the rule love him. He is very humble, gentle, honest and definitely a warrior. Although Vanathi belongs to a Raj family, she is very shy, yet innocent, respectful and kind-hearted. Poonguzhali has eyes on Arulmozhi – their chemistry has been seen as dearest and not the other way. The beauty of these two characters is so fascinating, it's like people with different poles - waves of kindness meet scorn. On the other hand, Vanathi is in love with Arulmozhi - I won't say Arulmozhi is in love with Vanathi because I felt Vanathi's love actually wins over Arulmozhi, so I want to give credit to Vanathi. You will see how Vanadi's personality changes into a bolder, more mature because of her love. This is the significant point here. Changing a personality is not easy. Have a deep love for something. This is clearly shown in this story. The drama between Poonguzhali and Vanathi has different chemistry – Tom and Jerry – Playful Poonguzhali pulls Vanathi's legs and Vanathi's reactions are great.
3. Sendhan Amudhan – Poonkuzhali “Calm and Gracious Love”
Senthan Amuthan character is so dignified and sophisticated and rich character. This character is very important in the story itself. There is a twist in this story revolving around Senthan Amudhan. Spirituality flows into this character and he is a person of genuine character, strong personality, a mind that can control the mind. One cannot attain this nature unless one is fully engaged in spirituality. It's amazing how this man loves a woman. Poonguzhali who doesn't accept her love then, we see them as a perfect match for each other later.
4. Manimegalai – Vandhiya Devan “Tragic Love”
Manimegala belongs to the Raj family, very innocent, faithful, compassionate, humble, affectionate, sisterly character. She falls in love with him even before she meets Vandiyadevan, as his brother Kanthamaran says about Vandiyadevan's characteristics, warrior personality. However, despite Vandiyathevan seeing Manimekalai as a sister, Manimekalai's love for Vandiyadevan did not diminish. How this unconditional love turns the innocent Manimekalai into a tragic one leaves you in a sea of emotions.
5. Kundavai - Vandhiya Devan “Royal Love”
Vandiyadevan was once a member of the Raj family, but he was a soldier when this PS story begins. He is very jovial, has big dreams, respects people (not just the king and his family, he has due respect from everyone), great warrior, a bit innocent, mischievous, playful, easy-going, strong-minded. Can keep saying about him, he is such a versatile character in this story. Kundavai belongs to Raj family where his father rules the kingdom and his two brothers are great warriors. She is very intelligent, affectionate, respectful, plans for people under their kingdom, smart decision maker, quick observation, a bit playful, beautiful, calm and humble, deep conversational personality. So more. Being such a great princess and falling for someone who has no land to rule and giving herself to him is true love. Every time Kundavai and Vandiya Devan meet, you get a different feeling - one time subtle another time profound and another time anxious. So emotional. The emotions expressed are regal.
6. Pazhuvettaraiyar – Nandhini “Quixotic Love”
Paluvetaraiyar is old in age but young in body and mind. A beautiful romance between Paluvettaraiyar and Nandini – how an old man loves his young wife Nandini. Paluvettaraiyar's love goes beyond young people in love. At the same time, Nandini with her shades of gray enchants us with her stunning personality. Her kindness, sexiness, ambition, cunning, virginity, affection, and gratitude are among the many struggles, but you don't see them all when she tackles the romantic love story. She handles very smoothly without any struggle.
7. Nandhini – Aditya Karikalan “Fierce Love”
Nandini is a girl who does not know her family origin and grew up in a servant family. Even though Aditya Karikalan belongs to the royal family, he falls for her. Aditya Karikalan was emotionally weak and strong in battles. This opposite nature sometimes worries Nandini. But due to royal situation, Nandini was sent away from the kingdom without the knowledge of Aditya Karikalan. When he meets Nandini in a strange place after many years, the situation stands between them and drives them apart. The agony of their separation makes him weep as he realizes it. However, the very quiet Nandini had to face Aditya Karikalan at the opposite end. she marries Paluvettaraiyar and wholeheartedly accepts the marriage however, the love between Aditha Karikalan and Nandini not faded a little. A war between two hearts - A war between Nandini's feelings - A war between Aditha Karikalan's feelings - There is no word. A second meeting after long years of their separation - you will feel all the emotions. Poetic love changes drastically. This is not easy to take.
There are other aspects to this story. Due to the length of this blog, I struggled to stop here. I'll catch up with you on other aspects of this story in a bit.
Conclusion: Love has different dimensions, shapes you for better and worse, sometimes makes you stronger, bolder, sharper, though no other words. LOVE is LOVE 💓.
Stay tuned for my next scribbling!!
Humble thanks to you all from a scribbler 🙂
